Thoroughly enjoyed visiting this aquarium as part of a day out with my children. Good parking nearby and not too expensive. The different areas of the aquarium are very distinct and give small children something noticeable to talk about. Would definitely visit again!

We went on the Halloween tour of the aquarium; The actors were good and the storyline was unique without missing out on learning about the marine wildlife. However the receptionist was very rude and awkward, it was as if she was playing a character it was that ridiculous that we couldn’t tell. Also quite pricey

Expensive for how small it is, no worse than sea life though. The cafe part was extremely slow, so slow I nearly gave up waiting. The girls were preparing food, handling money and back to preparing food all while wearing the same pair of gloves, which defeats the object really. One girl was delicately preparing a salad for about half an hour, with her hair dangling over the food as she worked. Hair nets wouldn't have been a bad idea there!

It was quite an expensive outing for two grandparents and two small boys. We happily spent a couple of hours or so there but would have liked more information. We needed to make clear to the children that the sharks were very small. We enjoyed the ray bay. Fascinated by how they reared up out of the water so made a point of watching them being fed. Not a very big aquarium but plenty big enough for our five and seven year olds.

The exhibits are on the whole pretty pleasing. Not much was very exotic but interesting nevertheless. It is quite expensive for the amount of time we spent there (£52 for three adults and one child for 2 hours). Overall I would recommend the Aquarium for those really interested in sea life.

Nice setup. Good range of fish with a range of environments to walk through.
Would be 5 stars if they had a larger fish, e.g. tiger shark, etc.

Great place to take kids, even little babies, as it has lots of lights and twinkling fishes! Manageable size and lots of variety from tropical plants to coral reefs. No cloakroom for baggage. Prams can be left in the foyer.

Great for kids: took our 9 month old as she loves watching fish and it is totally accessible to her. Also very reasonable; you pay one price for the whole day and can go in as many times as you like! Will definitely be visiting again!

Good place to visit with kids. Plan to spend approx 2 hrs here.. Very kid friendly place and have detailed notes on each exhibit at eye level of the kids...

My son was disappointed there was only one shark in the shark section. His favorites other than the obvious nemo (clown fish) and dory (regal tang) were ray fish, sea horses and jelly fish..

All of us really enjoyed , but we think it was over too soon :(
