Bristol Dinosaur Project

About Bristol Dinosaur Project

The Bristol Dinosaur Project is an educational outreach and science communication charity hosted by the Earth Sciences department of the University of Bristol. We give children and adults the opportunity to engage with science through learning about dinosaurs and other extinct life from the earth's past. In particular we champion our mascot, Thecodontosaurus, the Bristol Dinosaur. We are a team of real palaeontologists (from students to professors) who share our passion and knowledge with talks, events, and hands on workshops, featuring our dedicated handling collections of real fossils, as well as unique games and other activities.
