Trained here for 10 years and couldn't recommend this dojo more! More like 1 big family!

User

Took a long time and courage to get through the door but once in I don't want to leave. Love this place and the people here

User

Such a welcoming environment, not intimidating at all. Was planning to train here for just the UWCB event but can now see myself training here for the foreseeable future. The coaching is great too!

Only ever done martial arts for defensive reasons, tho I always enjoyed boxing. After giving the UMMA a go, I decided to stay on, not because of the taste I got for competitive martial arts but because of the immensely friendly environment and the friends I made. It’s family run and I very rarely see an attitude from any of the other fighters, those who DO get dealt with promptly.

Fun, friendly, relaxed and addictive.

Highly recommended. Needs a Judo class tho 😉

My son has been attending for about 8 mths now and goes about 3 or 4 times a week. He has learnt so much about BJJ, and is being really well looked after. Brilliant club, friendly family atmosphere and made to feel very welcome as a spectator/parent.

User

Its a awesome place to train and everyone is very welcoming and really good for beginners

User

Incredible vibe here! Everyone’s super friendly and all want the best for you. Coaches here are stacked full of knowledge and experience Highly rated.

I just wanted express my thanks to this dojo – I have tried another kickboxing gym before them and I didn't actually like the way they trained people, as it triggered my asthma because of the effort (and not being given much of a choice), and I haven't had a single attack in years prior to that lesson. I was almost ready to give up the whole Kickboxing idea.

I then tried Bristol Dojo. Very welcoming and everyone is very respectful. The way the training is delivered here is very scaleable, meaning you'll try to push yourself, but so far I haven't been put into a situation where my old exercise induced asthma would get triggered.

The instructors stress safety above all, they didn't let me spar without a gum shield or a groin guard.

The Kickboxing instructors train too, which is encouraging.

Once you get a membership you also have access to their free weights gym. It isn't huge (because most of the space is utilised by their mats) but it's great to have the accessibility.

They teach several disciplines and if you want to become an MMA fighter, this is the right place.

Overall, I couldn't be happier.
