About Bristol Textile Recyclers

BTR are a family owned recycling business, established in 1972.

We buy & sell second hand clothing to local traders & abroad.

We offer a profit share to charities & schools taking part.

Bristol Textile Recyclers Description

BTR Ltd is a textile recycling company renowned in the industry for providing excellent service standards.

We accredit this reputation to our adaptability and longevity in the textile industry and pride ourselves on the longstanding relationships we hold with charities both nationally and locally.

We believe our principles for operation efficiency and care of the environment can work hand in hand to provide a better service to charities whilst considering our carbon footprint.
BTR understands the challenges of charity retail, which is why we make it our mission to make your textile collections as stress free as possible.

From the first point of contact with our team, a designated contract manager will audit your recycling requirements, provide you with a recycling schedule including price points and coordinate directly with your charityŌĆÖs retail manager as to individual shop specifications.

We are very mindful of the detrimental effect poor service can have on your day to day operations, such as restricted storage areas, the inability to accept and process new stock and the knock on effects that can arise from health & safety legislation.

We know that your shop managers are there to drive sales, not to be tied up with these issues, which is why we have invested in a dedicated transport team and live tracking software so we can adapt quickly to any unexpected changes in your service requirements. BTR also offer a wide range of charity benefits.

Went today for the first time, and it was fab, it's a complete Aladdin's cave! I found Kurt Geiger shoes, Jack Wills jumper and a whole host of other lovely things. It was also fun rummaging through the big bins (if you like that kind of thing, which I do!)

Spent a happy hour rummaging through the piles. Brought back memories of jumble sales. Lots of genuine, good quality gear. Just have to stop myself from buying too much!

Amazing to see 20 tonnes of unwanted textiles being diverted from landfill daily and either reused or recycled.
