It's always warm full of life. Always full but still room for many people and is an old style traditional pub and serves cracking beers (just order a pint and not a half)

Friendly staff, and beautiful location for a drink.
We went back and it was very busy out side.

Beautiful little country inn, excellent setting and very friendly. Local ales served, but not a great selection of lagers. Food looked good and portion sizes more than enough - although we didn't try any food.
Overall, well worth a visit.

Excellent choice of real ales and friendly atmosphere. Good pub food. Seating is a bit limited inside unless the weather is good and there's more seating outside. Walker and dog friendly.

The service was very good with them being fast and friendly. The only downside would be the pricing for some of the food items. For example £5.00 for a cheese sandwich seems a little too much for me.

My wife and I popped in for lunch after a walk in the surrounding area (which is beautiful). It was a lovely sunny day so we sat outside. Food was very good and pleasant staff. Good choice of sandwiches on the afternoon menu.

Really good food. Decent portions and very good staff. Great range of beers and wines. Very happy to recommend.
