Very welcoming of my extremely large dog... I phoned first to see if dogs were allowed into the bar as we were meeting family for a drink, forgot to say how big he is, but they didn't bat an eyelid. Bar staff are very friendly, we had a meal in the bar and Loki was much admired by all.

Very friendly gals tending bar and the Wild boar sausage and mash with roast onion gravy was excellent!!!

Took my fiancé here wasn't sure what to expect but we were both amazed! Pork belly was superb, fiancé had the duck which was also outstanding. Very classy place with great selection of drinks and beers too. Service was excellent and it was cheaper than many other similar restaurants too. Loved it

My husband and I rented a flat in Kensington for 10 days and tried several pubs throughout our stay. The Britannia was by far our favorite. We chose to return there for my birthday dinner and both visits were top-notch. The food and staff was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. We will be sure to come back next time we are in London.

Great pub to stop in and have a pint and the best fish and chips we've had. Would highly recommend to stop by for the ambience and history.......

Fantastic food in the heart of London, really reasonably priced to boot - with a cozy casual “gastropub” atmosphere. You can’t go wrong here... try a Youngs ESB and the Bangers and Mash... you won’t be disappointed!

Fabulous local gastropub! Great service, cozy atmosphere, and the best Sunday Roast dinner.. my bf had the beef & I had the veggie version with a portobello mushroom, goat cheese tart.. OMG both absolutely delish!!

We were only there for a drink to meet up with friends, but will definitely try the food next time. Looked delicious.

We thought the food was delicious. We had a gruyere and sourbread kinda fondue for appetizer, a delicious ale and I had lamb chops with broccoli and new potatoes (yum)

And he had what was really a chicken pot pie which also was good. Sorry I don't remember the names of the dishes beyond that. Maybe because it was a bank holiday but we had the slowest service possible, probably because of the kitchen. Server was absolutely lovely and helpful but the meal took way too long to come out. Those who ordered the fish and chips got their orders up in no time. We watched after a many dishes were put up ahead of ours. Ours were fresh and hot--I will say that, so it's not like they were sitting waiting for pickup.

This venue was recommended by a friend who works nearby. Well worth a visit, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was excellent as was the service and Bar staff. Will definitely return when in the area again.

Pub is lovely, staff were good, Guiness was fab, home made pork pie was good, steak in ale pie was far too salty. Hope to have a better experience with the main course next time.

Nice pub, in the middle of a row of multi million pound houses, very strange indeed. Good food too.

Excellent fish and chips and very good pint of Youngs bitter (of which I had four). Attentive staff and remarkably reasonable prices, given the location. Made someone from Carlisle very happy.

Decent and reasonably priced food, very pleasant staff.

The staff were mainly Spanish, friendly, however due to a large crowd, the food got delayed by around 55 minutes. The pub looks fresh, after their recent face lift, and the food was good and reasonably priced for a Kensington/Holland Park establishment.
