British Alpaca Association is a private-sector association with non-profit purposes. British Alpaca Association brings together companies and individual breeders involved in the production and commercialization of fibre from alpacas, llamas, and other South American camelidae and their hybrids.

One of the main concerns of the company and its associated committees is to ensure the maintenance of the highest quality standards identified with this luxurious natural fibre, and the assurance that the raw fibre and the product from which it is manufacturerd is of BRITISH origin.
