British Glider Aerobatics

The British Glider Aerobatics Team are the National Team of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the FAI sport of Glider Aerobatics. Aerobatics is the sport of flying figures in the sky with as much accuracy as possible. Pilots are judged on their precise control of the aircraft, and must possess skill, nerves and plenty of physical fitness to rise to the top. Competition levels are grouped into categories; Beginners, Sports, Intermediate, Advanced and at the top, Unlimited. Each group competes and is judged separately, with different winners in each category. British Glider Aerobatics has three key aims: > Developing young pilots. We are committed to providing young aviators with an achievable pathway to success and relevant skills for a future in flying or employment. > Winning the World Championships. We have the desire, determination and commitment to produce a world-beating team in 2014.
