Two of our upcoming re-homings have been brought forward, meaning we have less time to find homes for 358 hens in Northumberland on 25 August and 41 hens in Carlisle on 26 August. Can you help? If so please make sure you're registered and then call 01884 860084 to book.

Ah it's the weekend...which is the perfect time for baking! We think everything tastes better when you use free range eggs, and it's particularly nice when you can use ones from your own hens!
Next month, on 28th September, it's British Hen Welfare Day. In case you don’t know already, BHWD is all about raising awareness of laying hens, and encouraging friends and family to buy and bake with free range eggs.
The idea is simple – hold a bake sale (we’ll even supply you with a f...ab free bake sale pack!) and exchange those baked goods with friends and family in return for a charity donation. All funds raised will be put towards building the UK’s first hen welfare and education centre – a Happy Hens Care Home if you will!

It's competition time! We've got a family ticket to give away for this year's Berkshire Show. The ticket will admit two adults and two children aged 5-15 years on either 15 or 16 September!
