About British Magic Museum

Bringing the history of magic to life through a series of exhibitions and by recreating vintage magic within theatre shows. A vast range of exhibits from the early days of magic in the 17th Century through to the present day.

British Magic Museum Description

Magic has long enthralled the British public, from the skill and dexterity of close-up magic, to the art and illusion of stage performance. The long-awaited creation of a national museum dedicated to this treasured art form is now a reality. The British Magic Museum opens its doors for the first time this month in North Norfolk.
This new national centre houses one of the largest exhibitions of magic in the world. The breadth of the displays is considerable, with a vast array of apparatus, ephemera, memorabilia, art and grand illusions. Many of these artefacts are totally unique and cannot be found anywhere else.
Not only does the museum makes this little-known history, covering some 450 years, available for everyone to understand but visitors have the unique opportunity to experience the magic of a bygone age as the magic is brought to life in the theatre.
