At the end of August, our sister pub The Dark Horse Moseley has put together a blowout beery bonanza of a weekend. The second annual Moseley Craft Beer Festival returns to Birmingham, bigger and better than ever. They’ve lined up over 50 taps worth of incredible beer from around the country, and world. Plus live music, talks & tastings, mouth watering food and more, all just a short stumble over the River Rea. Get your full details on the event page here, Moseley Craft Beer Festival, and keep your eyes peeled for the beers as they start to come out.

User

love pub and staff are friendly great pub to go to i would recommend this pub to other

User

Went here and really enjoyed it band was good and had a bouncy castle for the kids would definitely go again

User

Nice beer garden, part of which is under cover and has decent gas heaters. Decent friendly crowd, and a good selection of real ales. Good for children too, especially in the warmer weather as they have a bouncy castle and other outdoor activities. Would recommend.

User

Lovely pub that has been decorated in a fun, quirky way! If you like the prince of wales in Moseley then this is for you. Great outside area for sunny days and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We had a birthday meal in a private room and felt really well looked after. Lots of communication before hand via email and the food was really nice.

User

Looked after us for slightly chaotic lunch with a bored six year old, very friendly and patient. Food was great too.

User

Lively but with a great mix of all people, special place. Good beers, food, music. Cool place.

User

Great staff, excellent range of drinks, and always a relaxed crowd. Great food too! One of the reasons Stirchley is on the up!

User

Great pub. Nice, large garden, some cracking ales and good entertainment. A Sunday well spent.

User

Great local with good regular live music, food and friendly bar staff. Great, large beer garden and new tiki cocktail area.

User

Excellent food, friendly staff, great pub and Movenpck ice cream!!!!

User

Went for the first time great atmosphere felt it looked a bit dirty. Out side area. Bit like shabby. But overall friendly staff felt sorry for them really busy. Guess it is Christmas week. Hope they got some good tips. Will come again. But prince of wales mostly much the same but much better. Sorry don't want to be negative. Happy Christmas ever one

User

Good food, excellent service, friendly atmosphere combined to make a spur of the moment midweek lunch most enjoyable

User

Lovely local pub. Lovely food. Friendly staff. Shame about the toilets. The ladies toilets have had a pane of glass missing for nearly 2 years, the cleaning rota suggested that they hadn't been cleaned for 2 days, there is a broken chain for 2 weeks, there is always an overfull bin, no drying towels and they don't look clean. Light bulbs aren't checked, one bulb took nearly 12 months to replace. All the recent improvements are great.... What about the toilets?

User

Disappointing yet again not enough staff on again...by the time I got my drink the sun had gone in !

User

Smoke shelter all opened up and freezing, was warm and nice, over the top prices, for nothing special,£2.80 extra a round for 2,compared to the next local pub, take a lot to get me back here!!!!!

User

20 minutes wait for drinks which was sad as for food roast dinner was brought out cold so the nuked it to warm it up poor service plus rating of 0 for food hygiene to top it off over priced bollocks!

User

We have just stopped by to have 1 drink before our timeslot at a local attraction, we understand and expect it to be busy what with the world cup on however we were queuing up for 45 minutes without getting any closer to the bar. There was no common courtesy or bar etiquette. Rude people pushing in and being generally unwelcoming. We all want to enjoy the game with a nice cold drink so have a bit of patience, wait your turn and have some understanding. There was no need for the ignorance. Complete unorganized chaos, had to leave without even getting one drink.

User

Used to be a favourite haunt. Now it's just pack as many people in as possible and make them wait 25 mins to get served.... full of pissed up yobs with kids running around because the football was on.... won't be going again..but the review won't bother the management...just expect some other mugs to turn up.....

User

Terrible food, particularly the totally raw chicken nuggets. Very scruffy and with a management team that don’t give a toss about the beautiful building, it’s patrons or the food they sell. Avoid avoid avoid
