Well football is not quite coming home. But we think the boys did us proud, especially our local lad Harry Maguire. And we might have had the best Oakstock we have ever seen.
However the World Cup is not quite over and we will be showing the England V Belgium third place playoff and the World Cup Final on Saturday and Sunday.
Join us for our last dose of World Cup mayhem!

User

Let’s go Mosborough, come down and cheer the boys on!

We did a cocktail making party with Mark and it was fabulous - he knew his stuff and helped us make our own versions of three cocktails. We had a right laugh and a fantastic time! We would definitely recommend it!! Cheers Mark!

Just moved into the area and this is now our local.

Visited with friends last night and the food and drink were awesome.

The ham hock is delicious.

The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is excellent.

Looks like my newly acquired rewards card is going to see some use.

It's lovely to go to a proper pub with a good selection of ales and wines and great food. Visited yesterday and the ham hock, brisket of beef and fish pie were all excellent. Generous portions. Efficient, friendly staff too.

User

Come often to this pub and have never had a problem, great atmosphere and an amazing selection of gins and can’t fault it, think some people are being a bit pedantic! Couldn’t recommend it enough, staff are lovely and super helpful!

User

We called in yesterday for a few drinks after our Sunday walk the beer was awful very cloudy and not clearing so took it back to get another crap pint after the second one I took it bk the manageress was very nice and she replaced it once again this place has gone down hill with the beers used to love it in ere but not so sure any more

Just spent a couple of hours here as the pub is at the end of our road and was getting cabin fever due to the snow we got a table straight away no problem

1st problem ordered our drinks which were a coke and wine with soda the coke was like water as it needed changing the wine had the smallest amount of soda which were rectified

2nd problem I asked the waitress if the fish on the child’s menu was battered she replied yes came to the table wasn’t battered my daughter turned her nose up at it as it wasn’t that warm either had a starter was lovely but took ages for the waitress to clear the starter and then bring the main

3rd problem main came I’d asked for extra cheese on my burger didn’t come with it on was rectified then just about to tuck into the coleslaw looked like it had been warmed under the oven and sat out for 3 days then asked finally if everything was ok to which my reply was no and told the waitress about the coleslaw to which she looked at herself and back at me like I was an alien said she would tell the chef so she did and brought more out well I was well and truly put off by this point also my mum ordered stew it had never seen a stew it looked like it had been poured out of a can of stewing steak

Was never offered a discount or pudding for inconvenience I’m just very disappointed as in the past I’ve had nothing but good service good food and friendly faces can honestly say it will be awhile till I eat there again

Visited Bank holiday Monday around 2pm. The pub was relatively quite. We ordered fish finger sandwiches which came with chips and a side order of onion rings. After a very long wait, especially as there were few people in the place our order finally arrived. The fish fingers were so greasy and the baguette they came on was the cheapest bread they could buy by the looks. Although the chips were real potato and not frozen they were grey and soggy, that left the onion rings which I must say looked lovely. ... untill we bit into them and grease just poured out of them, the plate was swimming in fat. We told the waitress and she just refunded our onion rings although most of our meal was inedible. We certainly won't be visiting again or recommending it, we should have realised for a bank holiday how quiet it was...never again.

On arriving at the pub we were only the 2nd group in the pub. We waiting over an hour for our food. When it arrived the 2 vegetable burgers we ordered were cold. When the waitress took these back to be replaced by warm ones we were told that there was no longer anymore vegetarian burgers. We were offered an opportunity to pick an alternative dish but this would have arrived when my partner would have finished his meal, this would have delayed our time out as we had 2 small children and by this time it was nearly 730pm. My daughter ordered a cheese and tomato pizza which arrived with no cheese! Then when waiting for her ice cream, which took nearly 15 minuets to arrive the wrong flavour was served and then had to wait another 5/10 for a spoon!!

£60+ to leave without tea and still hungry!
