Established in 1967, the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association (BVRLA) is the UK trade body for companies engaged in vehicle rental and leasing.

The purpose of the BVRLA is to set and promote adherence to industry standards, raise professionalism and customer care across the sector, and represent member interests at a national and international level; supporting commercial growth and providing reassurance to consumers that BVRLA members are adhering to the highest standards and best practice.

The BVRLA works with government, public sector agencies, industry associations and key business influencers on key road transport, environmental, taxation, trade and finance-related issues affecting members who buy nearly half of all new vehicles sold in the UK, supporting around 317, 000 jobs and contributing nearly £25bn to the economy each year.
