We had never previously seen one of these fitted to a car before. This customer visited our workshop recently.
It's an alchohol test meter that will not let you start the car unless the reading is negative to alchohol after you blow in to the device.
very clever.

PART WORN / USED / 2nd HAND TYRES.
we are often asked if we supply used tyres. Britten Tyres does NOT supply used tyres.
... Whilst chatting with customers who ask about these tyres we have found many are of the opinion that these tyres are or have been re-furbished. That some process has been applied to make them safe and secure and therefore an economical purchase.
FACTS.
Not all part worn tyre dealers test the used tyres before re-sale.
Used tyres originate from many of the following sources.
Accident damaged cars no longer fit for road use.
Customers are advised their tyre is not repairable, then after they purchase new tyre, old tyre is repaired and re-sold.
Punctured Tyres which should not be repaired due to damage trauma outside of safety zones are subsequently later repaired and re-sold. We often see evidence of sidewall damage having being repaired. This is a big no no.
THINK before considering buying a used or part worn tyre.
New is always the safer choice.

Whilst attending Iwade Speedway Track in Kent yesterday, was able to assist talented young rider Drew Kemp in the pits with his punctured rear tyre, before he went on track and positively flew round.
