Lanterns, Lights & 'Luminations Saturday 24th November 2018 🎄Free Lantern Making Workshop 10am to 1pm Scala Hall, Brixham Town Hall. Festive refreshments available in the Function Room with Brixham Theatre. 🎄Street Market, Live Music, Entertainment, Hot & Cold Food Stalls from mid day to 7pm. 🎄Lantern Parade 5pm (meet outside New Fish Market at 4:45pm).... 🎄Grand Fireworks display at 6pm. 🎄Switching on of the Town Christmas Lights.

Lantern Making Workshop on Saturday 24th November 2018 to be held at The Scala Hall 10.00-13.00pm We are looking for materials to transform into magical lanterns for the Lantern Parade. We are collecting glass jam jars, fabrics, tissue paper, ribbons and old Christmas decorations. These items can be left at the Town Council Offices in the Town Hall. Thank you.

The Town Council has a number of Christmas Light displays for sale. The displays are all filament lights and are surplus to requirement due to upgrading to LED. There is plenty of life left in the frames - if you are willing and able to update or repair them! We are open to offers and ALL proceeds will be put back into paying for the towns Christmas Lights. All lights are sold as seen. The lights are available to view on Thursday 20th September 2018 by appointment only. Brixham Christmas Lights Switch On Event. 10am to 1pm - A FREE Lantern Making Workshop will be held in the Scala Hall 1pm - 6pm family entertainment, street food and music *5pm - Lantern parade. 6pm - fireworks display and the official switching on of the Brixham Christmas Lights

Brixham Town Council are delighted with the 2017 Lanterns, Lights & 'lumintions event, a huge success with record breaking numbers for the Lantern making workshop, Street Market and Parade. Thank you to all who joined us and special thanks to all the volunteers. See you all again next year on Saturday 24th November 2018.

It's all happening tomorrow! Hope you're lanterns are ready! If not, don't forget about our FREE lantern workshop in the Scala Hall from 10am until 1pm. The Market opens at 11am with street entertainment including children's rides from 12pm. There will be lots of things to enjoy for all ages so please come down and see us. The Lantern parade starts at 5pm with our switch on and fireworks at 6pm. Don't forget the market which goes on until 7pm!

The Park & Ride will be open on Saturday 25th November. All day parking and bus fare for £6.

The town Christmas Tree will soon be in position keeping watch over the harbour. Special thanks to Churston Traditional Farm Shop for providing the tree.

Advanced warning of Fireworks & Road Closure’s Saturday 25th November 2017 Lanterns, Lights & 'Luminations.
Road Closures will be in place from 9am to 8pm Middle Street, The Strand, The Quay & Kings Street. Minor disruption to Bolton Cross at approximately 5:15pm to allow the Lantern parade to pass.
... Fireworks will be launched from the inner Harbour at 6pm for a duration of approximately 15minutes.

The beautiful autumn sunshine was kind to the Christmas lights contractors. Lights are now up and ready for the switch on event. Looking forward to seeing the new designs illuminated on Saturday 25th November 2017!
