Gets really crowded at rush hour due to bottleneck at top of stairs but can always get a seat if prepared to wait a couple of minutes. Also some great musicians play outside the tube
Just one machine for cash tickets and no change at all.
Route 322 passes Brixton (National Rail) station in Atlantic Road. It does not serve this station.
The only thing that i don't like, is that when you're on one train that's supposed to be leaving in 1 min... the other train on the opposite platform comes in and leaves before yours..
Grrr!!!
Good station, end of the Victoria line.
Busy at all times.
Good connection to the central London. Always busy outside.
Dante's inferno doesn't come close to describing the experience of taking the tube in Brixton at peak hours. Horrendous overcrowding, commuters spilling out onto the street and queues going round the corner into adjacent roads just to get inside the underground... how on earth TFL, Lambeth council or whoever is in charge allow this ongoing hazard to continue unchecked is beyond me. The council is continuing to build more luxury flats in the area so this acute problem can only get worse with time. Until a fatality takes place nobody is going to do anything. They should be building a second entrance into Brixton underground station rather than bringing ever more commuters into the area. A DISGRACE
Always great musicians outside. A great easy link into the city.
Easy access then loads of amenities and buses connection and a national rail station too
COOL 😎
I love how they play classical music in the entrance.
Good disabled access - lifts all the way from the street to the platforms.
