In memory of Mary Longsdon the fell pony society have encouraged a month of activities and Broad Carr will be taking part. On Wed 8th August 2018 from 6pm we will be holding a competition open to everyone. The classes are: 1. Showcross - fell ponies 2. Showcross- open to all breeds 3. Intro dressage test (walk and trot only) - fell ponies

The owners, Esme and her husband, are the nicest, most dedicated pair you will find. Our 12 year old daughter has been riding for many years but we found it hard to find a place that challenged her to improve. Broad Carr is a wonderful farm/riding school and the children are fully enganged in the whole business. They can spend the day mucking out, feeding and grooming or just go up and do their 45 minute training sessions. There is nowhere better in the area and I would recommend a visit before commiting to any other school. We travel from Alkrington to Broad Carr even though there are closer schools.

The best riding school around. Cater for all levels and a friendly bunch of staff that make you feel very welcome - would definitely recommend.

Not just a Riding School... it's an extended family and social life.. a great place for your kids to be.

Caters for all ages and abilities! Excellent facilities, really friendly staff and a mixed variety of gorgeous ponies and horses! It's more than riding school, it's like second home, what more could you ask for! Absolutely love this place!
