We are relaunching our Junior martial arts class in Brockenhurst with an incredible offer! We will be holding FREE classes during April (and the rest of March, if you can make it) for children aged 8-13yrs. Just come along and try it!
Just make a comment on the post if you'd like your child(ren) to come and on what dates you were thinking. Or tag another parent you think might be interested. Or just share this post. We have a large venue at Brockenhurst Village Hall on Monday... evenings 6-7pm. The classes are fun and engaging and we have plenty of activities all carried out safely with a small team of instructors including local primary and secondary school teachers. Read our posts and reviews on our Facebook page, to see how other children and parents have rated the classes, then come and join us.
Other information: After April the normal class price is £5 or less if you make a block booking. The Venue is Brockenhurst Village Hall, Highwood Road, Brockenhurst, SO42 7RY. There is a big car park. Parents are welcome to watch if they wish. The time is 6.00 - 7.00pm every Monday evening (apart from Easter Monday) The FREE classes start now until the end of April, come to one, or come to all, they are FREE and no obligation to sign up or buy anything whatsoever The children can wear comfortable loose clothing. No need for expensive uniforms before you have even given the classes a go. Black or navy is a good colour to wear for the classes, but is not critical, it's just less distracting for the eyes. We are not in the business of teaching martial arts with the sole purpose of draining parent's bank accounts - we want to give children the best experience and the best introduction to martial arts! Addiction to video games, phones and tablets are becoming an increasing concern for children and adults alike. In children, this can lead to a lack of confidence, and difficulty in social interactions. Martial arts training is a great video game detox. The Chief Instructor Laurence Chapman has been teaching locally since 1996, the other instructors are Janet Smith, former primary school teacher, and Gary Mant, current secondary school teacher. First group of White Dragons to progress to Yellow Dragons tomorrow. We hope they have been practicing!
