Well equipped lodges everything you need even milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Lodges are very Clean although it did smell of damp dogs on arrival but as we took two of our own this didn't bother us and was to be expected given it had been raining. It was nothing a bit of fabreze and a door being opened for a bit didn't resolve. Amazing staff all so helpful and very child friendly my son loved it they went above and beyond yesterday for the children's Halloween party well done all!! Food was delicious, home cooked and great value for money I would happily return and wished we stayed longer than just the weekend thank you all xx

User

The large lodge was amazing, beds were soooo comfy, plenty of towels for the hot tub and loved the log burner too!

We even had dinner at the hall, Sunday roast was lovely!

Loads of scenery and relaxing to be enjoyed, very helpful staff and a purely luxurious lodge, oh and a hot tub over looking the hills! Was fabulous!

Stayed here with my family and totally recommend it. Everything here that you could need, beautiful lodges, very well equipped with everything as well as extra essentials I wasn’t expecting. Food is great in on-site restaurant. Hot tub and pool are great and a great all round place for dogs with plenty of walking areas for both on and off lead. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Fantastic place which I’d definitely return to, thanks

User

Me and the girls have just had an amazing long weekend here. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and were so friendly. The food in the restaurant was lovely as was our breakfast delivery. The site is fab and the views are beautiful. We loved the peacocks. I would highly recommend this site and I can’t wait to visit again as I’m already missing the hot tub.

User

Lovely mini break, have just booked to come back in the summer. First lodge I’ve ever been to where I’ve rebooked! Beautiful location, grounds very well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lodges are clean and well equipped. Very accommodating regarding the dog! Highly recommended!

User

Just returned from a week there and we absolutely loved it, so relaxing. Food is delicious. All the staff spoke to you and nothing was any trouble to them. Can’t wait to return.

User

Just got home today from our Christmas week long stay. We had an amazing time. Staff went above and beyond. We had a few minor issues on arrival and they were sorted straight away. Eat in pub/resturaunt a couple of times and food was lovely. Our 3 bedroom lodge was a bit on the small side for 2 adults and 4 children but the whole experience made up for that. Every member of staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay that bit more special. We enjoyed it so much that we rebooked for next Xmas while still there although staying in Viken this time for bit more space. Absolutely excellent place and we would highly recommend it. Can't wait for next Christmas. See you soon x

User

Just got home after a weeks stay in the viken lodge for a special birthday...we loved every minute! Lovely spacious modern lodge with hot tub and stunning scenery, they even had peacocks mooching about! Nothing was too much trouble for staff and the food was spot on. We hope to be back...thank you x x

User

User

Had a 3 night stay in the Fairfield Lodge over the weekend. My girlfriend and I both loved it, we would definitely go back. Lovely location and the staff were great.

User

Great place .main mansion building bar restaurant beautiful . Food and drink very reasonable price .

Lodge lovely . Nice welcome pack . Even a lovely big tin of Christmas biscuits.

The staff are very friendly and helpful .

Very dog friendly . Dogs are allowed in the bar and you can also order food in there . So no need to leave dogs alone in lodge

Could do with a light round the hot tub very dark there. A cover above the hot tub would be great as been heavy rain for 4 days been here and not been able to use hot tub and that was one of the things we was looking forward to .

User

Brilliant place, our lodge was lovely, a real home from home (only with a hot tub ) really well stocked with essentials, kids enjoyed the pool and the peacocks, and the customer service was fab, staff were so happy and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay!!

User

Beautiful settings, gorgeous food, staff are amazing and Robin is a top bloke who came to the rescue with some arm bands for our little girl after we had left them at home thank you to you all.

6 people (3 Couples) - Loweswater Lodge - We were at Brockwood Hall mid November and had the best time. The lodge was booked as a surprise for my wife's 40th birthday. The site manager and his staff were absolutely amazing and helped me with other friends arriving early and the decoration of the lodge (Robin even threw in a bottle of Prosseco which the wife really loved). Although we were only there for a long weekend the cleaner and hot tub maintenance staff called in each day to make sure everything was as we wanted. I even forgot to pack tins of beans for a fry up and rang down to the manager who duly supplied me with 2 tins of beans, We will definitely be returning at some point and would highly recommend this to anyone.

User

Just got home from a wonderful weekend away, staff are lovely, food fabulous, lodge very nice indeed. Only critique hot tub was still pumping out cold water when we left and hot tub not very private but lovely place in a lovely location.

User

Well I have 2 very different reviews about this resort.

On one hand me and my best friend and our girls had a lovely cabin, quite private and loved our week away here...

On the other my parents (who paid for our cabin and their own and spent a fortune every night on meals for us all) got the worst cabin on the whole site. The cabin next door to theirs was like a building site, their hottub was next to the road and facing this site, scaffolding, builders working everyday, and wagons and work vans blocking my dads car in. My parents work at a brick yard and booked this resort hoping for some relaxation and peace and quiet but they might as well of stayed at home, I felt so sorry for them. They was embarrassed to get in the hottub through the day because of all the workmen, my dad moved his car to our cabin because of the wagons and vans, and they spent most of the time at our cabin because of the noise and view from theirs. All this completely ruined the holiday for them after they paid so much money for it, and it’s ashame because other than that the place is lovely and the food is amazing, and the location beautiful.
