Today is World Autism Awareness Day.
The theme for World Autism Awareness Day this year is “The Transition to Adulthood”. When we grow, the society expects us to become a participant in the social, economic and political life of our community. However, people with autism face challenges in doing so.
Join us in showing your support with a blue rainbow in your window!!!!!
Good morning - check out the seals having a little scratch. They say they are like dogs of the sea. Easy to see that watching this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Zvpusq12 6k
We have so many projects covering, Gardening, Woodwork, Craft, Art, Youth work, Cooking, to name a few. So any donations of equipment or resources would be gladly received. We cannot collect now for obvious reasons but we will and can as soon as we are given a green light for movement.

Some good news for Faversham!
Coffee Break thought At the end of November, early December I coppiced an overgrown hazel in the Walled Garden and stacked the usable wood for a future project, of which I had no idea at the time what that would be? However mid January and it was raining so to try and inspire 3 16 year lads I decide to show them how to make a simple hurdle border with the pre cut hazel. During lunch break I cut the thicker hazel into 12'' stakes and selected the thinner pieces to construct the woven hurdle. We then produced some hurdle borders! simple enough. Fast forward to March and lo and behold the staked hazel is now sprouting into life!
The moral of this story is that even when we think that things are going bad or the situation is not looking good. There is hope! - GK
