How can I become a volunteer?
Potential Peer Support volunteers must complete an application form as well as attending six training sessions. The training covers; routes through the mental health service, role expectations, dealing with challenging behaviours, communication skills, health and safety and principles of recovery.
On completion of the training a formal interview will be held to assess an individual's suitability for the volunteer role.
