About Bromley Salvation Army

Welcome to the Salvation Army in Bromley. On this page you will find news & updates on our activities, both in our premises, as well as in the community.

Bromley Salvation Army Description

It’s not the shape of the building that makes us a temple, any more than what happens inside. We are a community of believers, committed to Jesus Christ, accepting that God, the Holy Spirit dwells with us and within us.

We are a congregation who gather in the name of Jesus, and believe that he is present among us.

We are members of the world-wide Salvation Army; some are officers (full-time or retired ministers), others are soldiers (uniformed and non-uniformed members) and yet others adherent members, people who have chosen to make, and call The Salvation Army their church.

But anyone can attend Sunday meetings and to participate in many other aspects of church life.

We are a Salvation Army corps (which is the word we use to describe our centre's), with appointed leaders and a supporting leadership team. Together they undertake a range of responsibilities, including administrative tasks which enable the good function of Bromley Temple Corps.

We meet at 9. 55am and 6. 00pm every Sunday (apart from August when it’s best to check).
