Thank you to our Prep School Parents' Association for hosting a drinks stand (including the sale of refreshing Pimms for parents) at Sports Day this afternoon.
Don't forget they will be back at both the Years 3-4 and Years 5-6 Sports Day after half term. Please do come along and support the PA.

Congratulations to the Prep girls’ U13 cricket team who beat RGS Worcester on Thursday evening. Bromsgrove fielded first and displayed some exceptional bowling to keep RGS’s score at 206 into the break. Bromsgrove then went into bat only needing 7 runs to win. Well done to our top batters; Freya L who scored 18 runs, Katie H 10 and Jenny F 11 who helped the rest of the team secure our total of 252 runs.
A special mention must go to the bowlers who took a wicket; Jenny F, Hatty O, Ella K, Katie H, Charlotte J and Sophia M.

This morning, Year 3 have been treated to a display of amazing ‘cowboy’ skills.
Year 3 pupil Sagar has been donning his cowboy boots and hat at home to practise some lasso skills with his father, to enhance his learning around our Summer Term “Yee-Ha!” topic.
His friends were amazed and delighted when he managed to catch an out of control steer (chair!) and he received several impromptu rounds of applause.
... Well done, Sagar- very impressive!

In recognition of Bromsgrove’s wartime links with Llanwrtyd Wells, for the first time this year, the Prep School are putting on an Eisteddfod in Routh Hall. The Eisteddfod is a celebration of Music, Poetry and Art and so we aim to celebrate our very best musicians, poetry speakers and artists from Years 3 to 8. There have been previous heats throughout last term, which will culminate in a grand final on Tuesday, 4th June at 7.00pm.
Free tickets can be booked via our online box office at www.bromsgrove-school.co.uk/whats-on
We hope to see you there.
