It’s still so hot out there folks! Training in Hebden is still on tonight. If your dog is not coping well In the heat please ensure you bring lots of water, a cool coat or if you need to, miss the session. I’ve contacted the Birchcliffe to see if anything can be done to cool it down inside. Here’s a shot of the lovely Miko modelling her cool coat. Stay safe folks!

User

We’ve talked about this in classes this week. Thought this image might help. Train your dog inside, play interactive games, get a paddling pool. There are many ways to entertain your dog during this heat without putting their health at risk.

Wilfred has completed two 6 week courses with Paula and loves it. He has learnt quickly and is developing into a well behaved young dog. Training is soundly structured and progresses at a pleasing rate. Pauls is very attentive to every dog.

User

We’ve really enjoyed our puppy classes and learned a lot. Hope to join you again soon for more advanced work. Thanks.

User

We started off with one to one training at home with Paula & our boisterous Labrador Elsie. The way Paula teaches us is brilliant with some easy techniques for dealing with little doggy problems. We are now attending adult follow on & Elsie has just got her bronze Kennel Club award. We all love going to classes & Elsie is eager to learn new tricks. She enjoys practising at home too, but like all labs she’ll do anything for a treat.

User

We have just finished a Beginner Course and found the whole thing completely enjoyable, very useful and so informative. There was a range of exercises and activities to trial in the hall and then follow up at home /outside. The insight into the psyche of my dog was fascinating and so helpful! I'm already booked on to the next course! :)

User

We brought our nervous and extremely shy rescue pup to Paula's puppy classes totally unsure how he would respond and he loved it!! Paula was completely attentive to his needs (being older than most of the other pups there and a rescue). He has come on in leaps and bounds and is barely recognisable from the anxious and sad dog we brought home!! And it's been great for us as first time dog owners to learn the ropes from a pro! Thanks Paula, can't wait to see you for the progression classes!! 😊 x

User

This evening our Border Collie Luna graduated from her 6 week beginners course. She has enjoyed the sessions immensely and we have all learnt a lot. She is destined to be a working sheep dog so her training is taking a different path now but we are glad we came to these classes as she has also benefitted from the socialisation. We would recommend Paula as she is a great teacher for both human & dog x

User

Paula manages her classes beautifully, accommodating anxious dogs and anxious owners extremely well. Both Paula and Cat are calm, knowledgeable and reassuring. Classes are lighthearted and fun without corners being cut in terms of dog safety. Paula is also very approachable if any problems occur that need addressing outside of class. My dog thinks she's great :-)

User

Paula is great with both my dogs. She's made my life so much easier, knowing there well cared for and walked while I'm out. Highly recommended.

User

Paula is amazing, she treats any dog like it's her own. So patient and encouraging at the same time, Jack our labrador knows when she's coming and gets really giddy haha. Couldn't recommend Paula enough!! :D

User

Paula came to me when I took a 3 year old GS cross with issues. He suffers from separation anxiety and is very reactive to other dogs on a walk as well as having to adjust to a new home and owner. She put a training programme in place to help us create a bond and build his trust in me. We 'train' in the morning before I leave for work which stimulates him mentally and tires him, this combined with tips from Paula to make my leaving and returning a more pleasurable experience for him are really paying off. I've only had him for 4 weeks and we have just walked past a man with 2 dogs without reacting - fantastic progress. It is hard work I won't deny it but well worth the effort if you just follow Paula's very clear and concise directions. This lady has improved my little man's life immeasurably in such a short time, we both say a huge THANK YOU Paula for all that you have done so far and all the fun we know is still to come xx

User

Many thanks to Paula for a fantastic 6 weeks puppy training of the new addition to the Guffick family! My mum, Devon and Bluey have thoroughly enjoyed the classes and Bluey has come on a treat! Thanks again Paula x

User

I recently went away for a weeks holiday and after having been told at short notice that my normal cat sitter wouldn't be able to cover the time they recommended Bronte Canine Services and I am so glad they did! I cannot fault a single thing that Paula did from initial contact to coming in an looking after the cats.

I was delayed in getting back home after the trip and on very short notice Paula was happy to make sure the cats were looked after for an extra day.

I would not hesitate in recommending Bronte Canine Services to anyone.

User

I have just completed the 6 week adult obedience class with my 18 month Border Collie, who is highly anxious in new situations and can very reactive around other dogs. Paula & Kat have been brilliant and really supportive. The small group setting is really relaxed and they are able to give individual attention and adapt their techniques to the particular needs of each dog and owner.

The course is excellent value for money and we have seen a significant improvement in my dogs confidence and subsequent behaviour and this has also helped me and my dog build a more trusting relationship and bond.

User

I have found the adult training class excellent & really helpful to address some behaviours in my 6 yr old Staffy. The lessons on recall, settle & jumping up have taught me how to correct these unwanted behaviours. Paula is knowledgable, patient & obviously loves her job as she interacts so well with the dogs.

User

Do you want a dog that you can be proud of and that is properly trained? Do you want a dog that will be the envy of all your friends and they're unruly dogs ? Do you want a trainer that will help train your dog the correct way with positive reinforcement? Then look no further than Bronte canine services. We have just completed our first 6 week coursework with Paula and I'm looking forward to the next course. I didn't think training a dog could be as enjoyable as this. Thanks Paula

User

Bronte Canine services provide a professional and friendly service and I would highly recommend. Our puppy loves his daily walks with Paula and we'd lost without her.

User

Billy and I have just completed his first 6 week course. Billy is a boisterous 12 month old labrador with the attention span of a gnat and who pulls like a train! With Paula's assistance Billy is now learning to walk to heel, his recall is a lot better and he's nailing his basics. I'm very pleased with his progress (he's far better than I thought he would be after 6 weeks) so much so that we are starting a second class. Paula is really friendly, explains things in an understandable way and very patient. Definitely recommend

User

Best dog walking service around! My jacky loves Paula and is always happy to see her!

User

As my dog has a few behavioural issues I was initially apprehensive about using a dog walking service. Paulas conduct and professionalism soon put my mind at ease and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service.
