About Bronze

Bronze is the world's first mass-market generative music format. It's a digital audio file which can be played in exactly the same environments as current formats such as MP3, the difference being that in Bronze traditionally recorded material is transformed to produce a different version of the recording upon each listen. Bronze is unique in being able to do this. Invented by a musician, a producer and the director of creative computing at Goldsmiths University, Bronze is "revolutionary new music format" (NME) which will "change the way we listen to music" (The Telegraph UK). It requires no change in the way artists record or audiences listen, it can be streamed, downloaded and played on the radio. For music makers Bronze represents the death of the static "creative full stop" and for audiences Bronze is the dawn of more immersive music experience, more akin to live than recorded but with literally endless possibilities.
