Broomhead Walled Garden

We are renovating our own 'secret garden' and will be open for competitively priced plant sales from May. We will be selling traditional border plants, veg plants, veg to eat and cut flowers, all in a peaceful, old Victorian kitchen garden.

Until two years ago the Victorian kitchen garden at Broomhead was covered in brambles and weeds and beautiful old features were concealed under feet of ivy. It has taken over two years of hard labour to produce a blank canvas and we are now eagerly awaiting the spring to begin planting. We will be selling traditional border plants, herbs, veg for planting and eating and cut flowers, all at very competitive prices. We will produce our plants in the most environmentally friendly way we can and at 900 feet they will certainly be tough plants. We do hope that you will enjoy visiting this piece of local history situated at the head of the Ewden Valley.
