Merseyside's exciting new day ticket Specimen Carp and Coarse Fishery open from 12th September 2014. Located in Thornton, on the rural outskirts of Liverpool, Brooms Cross offers anglers of all ages and abilities a peaceful, safe and secure venue - whether you prefer to have a day of rod-bending action with the coarse species on Owl Tree Pond, or spend a few days trying to catch one of our elusive monster carp in the Upper and Lower Alt Lakes. Top fishery can't do enough to help you only going to get better
The pegs are great, nice feel to the lake. The guys who run the place are great. It can be a tough water at times but when you catch its generally a good lump!

First time on for a 60 hour session, fished lower Alt as Upper was being netted. Blanked this time (nothing unusual there 😁) despite lots of fish boshing about. A great bunch of bailiffs who are always ready to help out with advice if required. This fishery will only get better in time and I will certainly be back in the future. Thank you.
Came to visit just after christmas done a 48hour session, blanked but got along with all the lads well an still enjoyed myself shop was useful aswell as when i wanted to switch my method they had everything i needed and more
Brilliant place very helpful friendly guys was fishing upper alt peg 8 managed to catch my new pb about 22lbs 10 mirror carp on mainline cell frozen bag. Would recommend this place to anyone

Awesome fishery. Swims and lake very well maintained, bailiff always available to take pictures of your catches. And anglers are really helpful.
