Brown Cow Inn

We come here a lot since moving to the area and have never once had a bad meal. The portions are bang on and you never go away hungry. Always something new on the specials board, always something new on desserts and always top quality proper food. Great staff and great cask ales too. This is also an excellent family pub with a kids room next to the bar/eating area and dogs welcome too. A perfect all round pub. Oh and takeaway beer too!

Good local pub with a decent selection of food and drinks. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Quality of food ranged from average to very good and always well presented. Not much options in the area so would recommend, however atmosphere more youth club than authentic pub.

Stayed at the Brown Cow Inn for a week whilst working in the area. Gavin and Natasha are great hosts and I was made to feel like a local after the first night. The food was lovely as was the room. Traditional country Inn.
Stayed at another hotel locally (😠) but always went back to the Cow for food. Will be staying/eating again on my next visit.
