Brownhills is a thriving and vibrant learning community, where pupils are eager to succeed and teachers are passionate and committed.
Visitors often comment on the warm and friendly atmosphere in the school and the buzz of activity that greets them.
In school elected pupils play a key role on the School Council, and our student leadership scheme encourages organisational skills and responsible behaviour. Brownhills is a Healthy Eating School and all children are encouraged to follow a healthy and balanced diet.
Brownhills is a community school in the broadest sense. Many other schools regularly use our 25 metre indoor pool, and local children can experience new activities via our popular after school clubs. Pupils are rightly proud of their fund raising activities for local and national charities.

We have launched the Brownhills Blue Peter badge campaign. There are 8 different Blue Peter badges in total. Over the next 8 weeks we will share details on how you can work towards getting one. We would like as many Brownhills students as possible to apply.
Why not try applying for a Blue badge this week? These are awarded for sending in interesting letters, stories, pictures, poems and good ideas for the programme which is on CBBC every Thursday at 5.30pm
