Well the day has arrived the final day of our 2018 season we are open 12 till 3 today. would like to thank all our customers old and new for using us this season. It's going to a long winter but we can look forward to next March when we can do it all again. Keep safe everyone and look forward to seeing you all again in 2019. And also a big thank you to my super staff ( Nikki, Marsha, Janine, Matt, Alice, Kim, James and Aaron ) this season and hope you will all be back again next year :-) xx

Good Morning tonight is the 5th of the 6th Hemsby Fireworks for 2018 we are open from 12 noon till 10pm today so come and give us a look our drinks fridge has now been replenished and is now full but for how long ? :-) and don't forget you can get kids bucket of chips and then they can use the bucket and spades on the beach afterwards all for only ┬Ż2 :-). Well it's Fish Fryday again we are open 12 till 8 today and don't forget our bucket of chips for ┬Ż2 and the kids can then take them down the Beach to use :-). Also it's Hemsby Lifeboat Day on Sunday so come along and support these Guys and Gals as they are all volunteers and do a lot for the local community :-)

Due to issues with the fryer we will be closing at 3.00 pm today, sorry for any inconvenience caused. We hope to have this sorted for tomorrow but we will keep you updated.

The best fish and chip shop in Hemsby. Neil and his team are so friendly and helpful.. Fantastic customer service, Well worth a visit and highly recommend.

Vegetarian friendly chips, lovely fish all cooked in vegetable oil.

Take note holiday makers, best chippy along beach Road, hot and fresh also closer to the beach. Just remember to take your rubbish to a bin. It's the locals that keep these places going in the winter. Spotlessly clean too

So glad we tried this place!

As someone with an allergy, together with one 'quirky' child and another moody teenager it's often less than easy to eat out. However the staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The food itself was great! The chips were gorgeous and my brother said its the best fish and chips he's had!

All in all a good experience.

We WILL be back.

Must say I've just had the best cod and chips I've had in a long while. If you keep that standard up you'll be 'frying' high in the fish and chip shop ranks guys! Superb!!

Loved it hear, my son loved the bucket and spade with his meal so much he's decided he wants all the kids that comes to his party to have a bucket and spade instead of a party bag lol x any ideas where I could get 30 of them ’┐Į

Just had the best fish & chips from here telephoned the order through and arranged pick up time this has to be the lightest crispiest batter ever and believe me we have tried a few the chips were lovely as well - definately recommend

I dont normally do reviews, but had to for this place. The nicest fish and chips Ive had in ages, cooked perfectly, beautiful crisp, tasty batter, no skin on the fish and lovely juicy chips; good value and speedy service. We will make this our regular now

Fantastic food at Brown's Plaice. We had large cod and chips with a sausage each and it was delicious. Service was superb, too. Will definitely be returning.
