Thank you Mandeep for your kind donation of clothing today.
Many thanks to Sarb Singh for a very kind delivery of children's books. These are being given out to children in our community cafe today.
Sarb also mentioned that the Sikh Guru Nanak Gurdwara on High Street, Smethwick serves free lunch (langar) to anyone in need on a daily basis and that everyone who attends in a respectful manner is welcome to participate.
Dear Friends, Brushstrokes is now desperately in need of children's clothing (all ages) as well as men's clothing sizes small and medium. Many thanks
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to two of our staff members this autumn. Megan and Blanka are leaving Brushstrokes for pastures new. Megan goes to Sandwell Council as their new Housing, Outreach and Research Officer whilst Blanka leaves for the stunning greenery of Herefordshire in her new role as PA and House Manager. We are sure that both ladies will have every success in their new roles and we wish them every happiness. Thank you for doing a great job at Brushstrokes! (L-R) Megan, Blanka, Carol and Lorraine
A huge thank you to the following group of ladies who have donated clothing items to us recently: Alaina, Pat, Wendy, Minaxi, Lisa, Autumn and Lorraine.
Many thanks to Patricia for your kind donation of clothing yesterday.
Please note that we are unable to accept any more donations now until further notice due to lack of storage space. Thank you all.
Please note that the immigration clinic has been cancelled this Friday. It will resume on Friday 31st August. Thank you :)

Please do join us as we walk one circuit around Victoria Park, Smethwick, B66 3QB, followed by veggie samosas on Thursday 2nd August 12.00 -- 15.00. We will meet at the Victoria Park Road gate (on street parking is available). Children are welcome as long as they remain in the care of their parents/relatives.
Just a reminder that tomorrow sees the first of Brushstrokes' free Art Club sessions. Please do come along and relax with us as we mess around with charcoal and chalk. No skill levels or equipment required. Everyone is welcome but no children are allowed unfortunately.
