Selecting the right home from home family is very important for both you and your dog. I provide a secure and loving environment, whereby your dog becomes one of our family! ! He /she is free to play in our secured back garden, or relax in the front room (even on the sofa, if that is the norm in his /her home).

Registration is also an important part of the home from home process. Upon your enquiry, you will be sent a Registration form, which will be kept on file. You will then be invited to visit with your dog, in order for you both to get a good feel and sense of our home. At least two (chargeable) 'taster' days will be offered, prior to any regular booking you undertake with us.

We are incredibly laid back, we do not stand on ceremony in any aspects of life, and do not become precious over a chewed sock or broken vase!

I am at home during the day to ensure care is always provided especially where puppies, dogs on regular medication and senior citizens are concerned. Should anything (but most unlikely) happen to your dog, I will act accordingly, both contacting you immediately and then transporting to a local vet (or yours if closer).

A typical day at Scallywags is as follows: Upon arrival your dog will no doubt be greeted by other pooches, equally excited to play, sniff and have a good old run around. Free play for approx. 3-4 hours before we venture out on a good hours walk. Back for refreshments, towel down if raining, and lunch for those who have, and treats for those who do not. Nap time! ! And typically they do! Mid afternoon, our children arrive home from school, whereby more play time is guaranteed! Late afternoon /evening, each Scallywag guest is collected and retreats home sufficiently exhausted enough for owners to relax themselves, whilst their fur babies. . . . sleep! !

We are fully insured with Pet Sitters Alliance (for Public Liability). . Licenced with Bristol City Council. And CRB checked with Scouts and our local Church.
