I joined in 2013 and have never looked back!

After completing my AS levels and on the way to finishing my A levels I decided University wasn't the route I wanted to take, I was tired of learning new skills and not using them!

I applied for the level 3 apprenticeship looking for an engineer role in my area. I was invited to a "Hub Day" which was made up of an assessment and an interview. My interview went well thanks to the planning and prep that I put in before hand.

A couple of weeks after my interview I got the call I was hoping for offering me a job! I was told all the details and they explained there was going to be an induction event where we would meet the people from the area of the business that we were interested in. This is were I started to learn the skills needed to become an engineer.

In the last 4 years I have completed my apprenticeship and taken part in so many experiences including a trip to the top of the BT tower, charity work in Kenya and many other great opportunities. Since finishing my apprenticeship at the end of 2015 I managed to get a promotion into Learning and Development were I now design the training for the business.

Overall there are so many different routes to take in today's recruitment and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for taking the time to read my story, I feel that nothing beats a true account of how great working for the company can be!

Today after having no broadband for 24 hours due to technical issues I got a knock at the door from a man called Scott. He informed me that my line had been cut by mistake by another engineer. He went out his way to fix the issues and even installed a new socket in the house to make sure I didn't have cable all over the place like before. He went out of his way to make sure i was kept updated about all the work being done. I was very impressed as after contacting BT last night I was told the issue was in my home. This young man managed to increase my broadband speed and get everything back up and working again within a couple of hours. He is a credit to the company!!

User

Definitely it's great place to work and lovely working environment but there are few things which BT india operations need to change️

BT is wow.

User

Not happy about changing the prices without letting me know... when the new customers can get an old price 34.99 and after only 3 months with you I've been charged differently... seriously guys ?!

User

I was sent this Advert by BT Careers. I looked at why I was sent this, and the reason stated was," As it is targeting people who live in England. " So, why the hell did you send it to me then ?

User

I canceled my contract 2 weeks ago and now they told me, they don't have any information about it and I have to prepay 9 months to cancel contract. It is a joke...

User

BT telecom randomly cuts off properly working internet at paying customer without prior announcement or communication and is not able to correct their mistake with priority service. So far from professional customer care!!
