'The Big Pitch' is a two week project that gives our students a chance to look at an empty commercial property in #Bournemouth and given a set budget to come up with a business idea which could work.
This requires students to carry out a range of activities, from market research, to website design, to video content creation.
They need to work hard as a team, so we introduced them to a great team building exercise.... A media tutor here is a bit of a balloon expert and gave the groups knowledge on how to create balloon art. They were then tasked with creating a balloon motorbike.

Here are some of our students relaxing after class, taking part in silent disco yoga! Silent disco yoga is an innovative journey of flowing movement and sound. Students could immerse themselves in the motion of yoga & dance and experience calming guided meditation towards the end of the class.

Few weeks ago we worked on very interesting project: 'Bournemouth through the eyes of an International Student'. Teams were randomly put together and what's a better way to build some team spirit, than with a 'Newspaper Fashion Show'! Teams were given newspaper, scissors and sellotape. They had to be creative, especially as there was a requirement for head gear!
