Unfortunately due to health reasons as of today I will be not be taking on any cake orders for some time. Its not a decision I have made lightly. I'm very sad to be closing my books. I can’t guarantee a date of when my books will reopen but I will say that this isn’t end of my cakey adventure.
Any orders that I have had deposits and final payments for will be completed.

So today was my sister Tammie Cutting's 40th Birthday...she is obsessed with Steven Brown Art so I made Charlie McCoo into a cake. Charlie's neck is cake and the head was formed from rice crispy treats. I used Cake Frame Ltd's minion kit purchased from The Cake Decorating Company for structual support, which worked perfectly!! My sister loved it so much, it brought a tear to her eye....she didnt want to cut it! 🤗 #bubblegumbakes #stevenbrownart #cake

Ohhh i do love a drippy cake.... this is a 8" vanilla and jam cake covered in white chocolate ganache with a blue drip decorated with a krispy kreme donut, marshmallows and more. Greg loves his Audi so I was asked to make his car key fob and to make a white horse chess piece to represent his business. Customer provided the name topper. Happy Birthday Greg!! Hope you had a great party!!

Pink, Glitter and Bubbles!!! 🥂 Edible pink glitter covered cake with a model of the birthday laying in a glass of bubbles to celebrate her 21st birthday surrounded by spilt glasses and bottles of the good stuff. Cake flavour choice was a chocolate sponge cake with an oreo buttercream filling...delish!!

Mr & Mrs Marrable had their big day in May at the beautiful Leez Priory Wedding Venue.They wanted a 3 tier all buttercream stripped wedding cake. Unfortunately the florist wasn't there when i delivered and so the bride's bridesmaid did a great job of adding the floral decorations and topper. Thank you to the stunning bride for the photo of the finished cake and one of the happy couple cutting into the cake. 😍

Shopkins 5th Birthday cake. Striped bottom tier with the birthday girls name in bunting decorated with hearts, stars and sprinkles. Top tier is the shopkins character 'Wishes' with a number 5 topper.

So here is my first share in a while...My OWN wedding cake. We had a superhero theme to our big day so we choose to go with a front wedding side and a back superhero side.
Starting with the superhero side...be warned for a full on geek over Marvel and DC Comics...🤓 At the base of the cake we have The Incredible Hulk holding up the building/cake, the wall has been smashed in and the Arrow has left his mark on side of the building with an arrow. Zooming through the city is The ...Flash and Batman's Signal is in the night sky. As we go further up you can see Thor reaching up with his Hammer. If you are a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy then you may notice that the sphere represents the Orb which contains one of the infinity stones. Onto the galaxy tiers Rocket Racoon and Groot (2 of our absolute faves) are standing below us whilst we sit on the top tier. I have a mixing bowl in one hand and a wooden spoon in the other whilst my hubby has his headphones on and is sporting a t-shirt for the internet radio station he DJs on. Alot of airbrushing was done on this side of the cake...my house was covered in an array of colours. My lovely husband wanted to help and so he did a brillant job with the 2 night sky tiers. I used cake lace on the sphere to create the Orb like features. All models were created using gumpaste.
The wedding side has a blue quilted tier with white dragees, a blue glittered tier, a red sphere covered in frills as well as those classic white tiers in between. Red and blue handmade sugar flowers and small yellow and white filler flowers bring the cake all together.
As the cake maker I set it all up myself on the morning of my wedding and walked away very happy and proud of what I had achieved. I hope you all love it as much as I do 😍

I'm sorry I have been super quiet ...on the 12th of August I became Mrs Harrison!! The lead up to the big day and the day it's self was hectic busy and went far too quickly. I have since been enjoying spending time with my 2 boys and husband. Thank you to my customers who have been patient with me during this busy time. As of this week I will be sharing with you a few cakes that I did back in June and July and of course my own wedding cake! From September I'm back into Cake mode so if anyone has any special days or events coming up please pm me for a quote 😗 xx

⚘Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme...Beauty and the Beast⚘ One of my childhood faves 😍
Models are all handmade from gumpaste. Cake flavour was vanilla sponge with yummy vanilla buttercream and jam filling.

Big congratulations to Mr and Mrs West who had their special day on Saturday.
The happy couple choose a 8", 10" and 12" tiered cake. Flavour choice was vanilla sponge with yummy vanilla buttercream and a layer of jam in between.
The top tier was decorated with little white flowers and a bow around the base, the middle tier was sprayed a shimmery light gold and the bottom tier has a delicate pink lace around the base. The finishing touches were the flowers and personalised topper provided by the couple.

This weeks cake tied in nicely with the lovely weather. An 8" lemon cake with lemon buttercream, decorated with a beach theme and the birthday girls favourite things...her iPad, wine and chocolate 😎

An 8" square rich fruit cake decorated to match the Bride's taffeta dress. She wore a diamonte belt around the waist which I made from diamontes and pearls on a ribbon. Topped with roses to tie in with her wedding flowers.

Pink Lemon Drippy cake covered in ganache decorated with a Krispy Kreme Donut, flowers and an assortment of sweets and chocolate!

Pink, Spots and those 2 black round ears dressed with a big bow can only mean one thing.....Minnie Mouse!!! A 2 tied cake to celebrate little Hetti's 1st Birthday. Top tier was lemon and bottom was chocolate.

A special birthday cake to celebrate Micks 80th Birthday. I was asked to make a replica of his Navy cap and a model of him in his uniform. The feedback was great, he was really touched by the surprise cake and loved it!! X

I had the pleasure of making this cake last weekend for the wedding of Nadine and Adam Frith. The newlyweds wanted our bestselling flavours....lemon, chocolate and vanilla and jam cakes. Cakes were decorated with ivory sugarpaste, the base tier had stripes added to it and the top tier was quilted with a flower arrangement added for the topper. The venue was beautifully decorated and the cake tied in perfectly!! Big congratulations to the happy couple!! X

Ive been a bit quiet with regards to uploading cake pics recently as i have been very busy with cake orders and organising my wedding but i will be posting some recent bakes today. 😁
My books are currently full now until September, I only take on a couple of orders a week so it's always best to book in advance or to secure a date with a deposit.
