Well that's 2017 finished!
After a torrid start to the season when our engine blew up before round one at Oulton Park the team got stronger as the season progressed to the point where we started to compete with the quicker and more experienced teams and drivers towards the sharp end of the field.

Congratulations to Ben Miloudi, Formula Vee Uk champion for 2017 and Jamie Harrison, class B champion

Big shout to ex-Formula Vee racer Ash Sutton, now the new champ in the UK's biggest series, the British Touring Car Championship. And commiserations to the tough luck suffered by the other contender, our old friend Colin Turkington.

A mixed weekend for the vee field. Wet weather made race 1 a strange one with several green flag laps and uncertain conditions. We came home ninth to sneak into the top ten in race 1 before race 2 was cancelled due to weather. #vwheritage

Well that's it, race two cancelled after a torrential downpour made the track unsafe. A shame but understandable given the conditions. #vwheritage

So the track had dried with some nice sunny weather. But the vees are out in 30 mins so it's pelting down again! #vwheritage

Mixed bag qualifying with two red flags meaning we only got one flying lap. So we are 11th and 19th for the two races with work to do! #vwheritage

This weekend the 750MC circus will be racing at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Northamptonshire. Formula Vee timings are:
1020 - Qualifying 1400 - Race 1 1715 - Race 2

Great write up on the Irish contingent's travels to Cadwell park for the 50th anniversary celebrations recently. Hopefully they can make it over for the traditional festival at brands hatch at the end of the year

Cool to see that McLaren junior driver Lando Norris is liking our pix on Instagram. We reckon he is going to be Britain's next big thing when he inevitably gets to Formula 1 and we wish him all the best for a stellar career.
