Buckinghamshire Disability Service (Buds)

BuDS is an independent pan-disability charity which aims to fix the big issues affecting all disabled people in Buckinghamshire and beyond.

BuDS tackles only the issues which disabled
people themselves think important. Our
commitment to user-led principles dictates
our whole strategy and activity. We have over
30 separate projects in 5 main project areas.

BuDS tries not to do something which
another group is already doing satisfactorily.
BuDS ‘fills the gaps’ when something which
disabled people need is not being done.

We encourage and help councils, health
services and companies to provide better
support and facilities for local disabled
people.

We are determined that everything we do
makes life better for disabled people in
Buckinghamshire.
