Went Friday for my birthday to there steak night and we couldn’t fault the food. Melvyn and the team went the extra mile to fit us in as it was for a special occasion. Highly recommend Bucklers 😃

We really like it here. They serve a really good breakfast (the early morning discount is a great idea). The coffee is great as is the food. There is a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Professional service in a relaxed environment. Haven’t been for dinner but plan on doing so very soon. Melvyn and team provide great food in a welcoming cafe.

We had lunch here today, food is great and the pink gin is very nice.

I had the chicken and halumi burger, which was lovely. Husband had your Buckler's burger and he said it was very nice.

Visited Bucklers for the first time today (7/8/17) with my husband and 3 children. Very welcoming, great atmosphere. We had cycled from Polegate so needed a good lunch to give us energy to cycle back! (I had seen Bucklers pop up on Facebook a little while ago and said to my husband we should try it out.) I happened to mention it was my birthday (justifying the extra cheese and bacon on my burger!) and after our very tasty lunch they surprised us with delicious warm chocolate brownies, candles, and singing from all the staff! Highly recommend Bucklers and we will be back. :-)

Thank you Bucklers for opening especially for us to celebrate Bens surprise 21st, it was a fabulous evening, food as amazing as always, thanks to Ryan a brilliant chef! Melvyn, Jonathan and Julie you're a great team! Everyone loved it ��

Really cracking food, and always served with a smile from friendly staff; along with a relaxing atmosphere rounds this place off perfectly.

Popped in early evening for a cheeky Gin in the sun they were setting up for the evening with all 56 bottles on the bar really nice guys interesting conversations and a tempting invite to return to try the other 55

Lovely ambience. Great decor and the staff are so friendly. So glad we decided to give this place a try after reading about it in a local magazine. Very nice coffee too and I’m a total coffee snob. Nicest place in Hailsham and well worth a visit. We’re planning on going for dinner one evening and maybe try a cocktail after seeing them experimenting yesterday

Held our christening here Sunday! Was excellent 5*, food was great freshly prepared came out on time and tasted great. Quite a large party of us and everyone praised the service and the food. Drinks reasonably priced and good selection. Not our first time here and won’t be our last, thanks again Melvyn for your efforts and organising such a wonderful day for us all :-]

Have been a couple of times and had beautiful food on both occasions. Recently sampled one of the many Gins on offer which was delicious, especially as I don’t usually like gin! Great variety of food and drinks and a good selection for kids too. Very welcoming attentive staff, will definitely be back!

Had an amazing meal here last night. Food, staff and atmosphere all amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and it’s gluten free heaven. I could write so so much about how amazing this place is and how the owner has just got everything right but all I would say is GO TRY IT OUT YOU WILL LOVE IT. �

Great start to the morning a very nice English breakfast and a few coffees . Will defo be trying out a few other meals from here great ambience and staff .

First time visiting for breakfast and will definitely be back. Lovely food and wonderful friendly service. Also the added bonus of a Vegan menu and even Vegan cake for my daughter.

Amazing service. My little girl loves their mezze selection and had listed what she wanted with it, (regardless of if it was listed on the menu) they had all but pepper. So he went and bought her one especially. I love everything about this place!
