Bucks Skills Show Description
MISSION
Wondering how you can guide young people you know along an exciting, successful career path? The annual Bucks Skills Show is students’ local portal to the world of work, connecting them to a wide range of Buckinghamshire-based and international industries: from health and pharma to creative and media, cyber-security and engineering to hospitality and the armed forces.
STORY
Help young people discover a career they’ll love at this year’s Bucks Skills Show on Saturday 14 October 2017 at The Gateway, Aylesbury, from 9. 30am to 3pm.
WHAT?
Bucks’ largest skills and careers event is an interactive experience for students led by local and international industries keen to tap the talent pipeline of the future.
WHO?
All young people 14 + years old, teachers, parents and carers.
WHY?
Bucks Skills Show opens young people’s eyes to the many different job opportunities available, giving them the chance to ask questions direct, get practically involved, be motivated by high profile guest speakers, and ultimately make better decisions about the next stage of their education or career.

Very useful event for my daughter studying a levels and my son studying for gcses. Many exhibitors with options for university, college, apprenticeships. Very useful chat with representatives from Bucks County Council re apprenticeships.
Plenty of helpful people to talk to in a variety of fields. We left with useful information, many thanks.
Fantastic event - very useful for my son studying for GCSEs. Very informative break out sessions regard the future of jobs and Apprenticeships. Really good to see local businesses there although would like to have seen maybe some more tech companies if possible.
Excellent event with a great mix of different companies/ career options. The people we spoke to were very helpful and my son and I found it very informative.
