Bude Food Bank

Bude Foodbank is a charity that was set up to support people in Bude and the surrounding area who are facing adverse poverty.

We supported a growing number of around 1, 300 adults and children this year providing over 700 emergency food parcels.

Bude Foodbank has been running for about 8 years now and moved into Oceans Community Centre when it opened in April 2011. We have now opened a furniture store to run along side it.

The Foodbank has become an important part of the community. If people find themselves with no food and no money they get a food voucher, then come to us and we will give them a parcel of food. If it was not for the community of Bude and the surrounding area we would not be able to offer this service, the generosity that we have seen has been amazing.

2015 has seen us open a Furniture store so we can accept donations of good furniture and sell them on at a reasonable rate. The money will go to supporting the Foodbank and other projects that the Life Centre run.
