Very satisfied with the service and food is very good and reasonably priced

First rate food. Lovely people.

The food was decent and the service was good. The thing that drags the score down a little from a solid four came at the end of the meal. We had a fair bit of food left over and asked to have it packed up so that we could take it home. There was no issue with this, but we were told that there would be a charge of £2. I can see how this would be justified - the containers have some cost attached to them, and the amount charged is fairly trivial, but it's something I've never come across before and just ended the evening on a slightly sour note. I don't think the very small financial gain to the restaurant is worth the ill-feeling that it could lead to.

We are visitors to Bude and saw this restaurant had a good rating so decided to go and see for ourselves. We were not disappointed. The bharjees have to be the best ones I have ever tasted. My passanda was absolutely delicious as was the chapatti I had with it. My husband had lamb tikka with madras sauce and samosa. I cannot find fault with the food it was excellent. The whole meal plus beer was 35.00 which we thought was reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and friendly. Don't miss it if you are in Bude or is well worth a visit

Managed to get a table on a very busy Saturday night in late September. Waitress was, erm, "quirky" and definitely not highly trained...but friendly.

Food was a very pleasant surprise for a seaside place. Starters and main courses were excellent - really tasty and plenty of unusual choices including a Chicken Peshwari, which was really really good.

Booking highly recommended as they were absolutely packed with restaurant and stacked up takeaway orders throughout the time we were there.

Very reasonable prices too - bill came to £36 for two or us for poppadoms, starters, main courses and a side dish and drinks. Brilliant
