The children at BudeezKnutsford learned an important lesson during tonight's fire practice... if you take your shoes off in club you will get cold feet if you have to go outside! Well done to staff and children for reacting quickly and getting everyone out safely!

What a busy afternoon we've enjoyed in club! Odd socks day for Down Syndrome, origami spider following a child's interest and lots of low flying aeroplanes! I love how the children and staff enjoy paper crafts...

St Patrick's day has arrived at BudeezKnutsford. Leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold everywhere! Learning through play at its best ...

The children learned so much from Mandy tonight about first aid there were bandages and resus dolls everywhere! They all went home with a certificate and some more information. I was so proud of them all lots of engagement and interest!

We have an exciting week planned for the children at BudeezKnutsford ... first aid training on Tuesday - lots of St Patrick's Day crafts - free play with our quality resources - we aim to make the most of every session for every child!

**MESSAGE TO ALL PARENTS** On Tuesday 12th March - after school club - a First Aid trainer is coming into BudeezKnutsford to work with the children - all children are welcome! If your child does not usually attend and you want them to come to this special session please contact me.

The children enjoyed pancakes and fruit for snack tonight before settling down to play (den making was popular) and crafts (dream catchers - lots of cutting and weaving). Happy Shrove Tuesday everyone!

Every child made bara brith tonight at BudeezKnutsford and we ate Welsh cakes for snack. Some children dressed up in Welsh traditional costumes too - happy St David's Day tomorrow!

The older children raised the subject of ‘Momo’ at BudeezKnutsford this morning. Staff listened to their concerns and talked to them about staying safe online. We discussed self-esteem and how to say ‘no’ if we don’t feel comfortable about something. We also suggested using a child-safe internet browser and parental controls. We reminded the children to tell their parents immediately if anything happened online that worried them. An important subject for the children which we dealt with honestly and respectfully. If parents have any questions there are lots of advice sites online.
