Budemeadows Touring Park

We stayed here from 19th to 23rd August with friends.
Yes the grass areas were boggy in places but Cornwall had severe wet weather late July early August so this was to be expected. We were contacted several times on the run up to our stay and informed re the wet pitches and were given the opportunity of a full refund prior to arrival. We chose to continue with our stay and they worked with us to ensure it was a pleasure.
I have stayed at many campsites across the UK and in Cornwall and this site and its location are up there with the best. This is a small family run friendly site where the staff will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs. We had friends visit for the day who they welcomed in as our guests. The whole site was clean, safe for the kids to play and its layout created an environment whereby you did not feel crowded.
We will be going back to this site again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Fantastic campsite. Brilliant pool and facilities. Loved how even on a busy site in August careful zoning with fencing and bushes meant felt in a wee small corner of Cornwall. perfect location and minutes from widemouth beach. Staff spot on...knowledgeable and slick system.

Good campsite.
Toilet blocks clean but a little dated. Shame you can't change the water temperature in the shower and the cold water taps in washing facilities are not very powerful. Facilities otherwise are fine. Never had to wait for washing up or shower and it's now the middle of august.
Most pitches are on the smaller side but when we booked we told them we have a large tent and they gave us a very good sized pitch. In the field we are in most pitches are quite private due to the hedges.
Shop is basic but good. Nice bar. Nice to have a take away facility on the campsite. Although the bar and food are expensive for what you get.
Lovely play area for the children. Although basic it's fantastic to have a pool on site. The campsite has all the facilities but doesn't feel like one of those massive resorts. The owners could be a bit friendlier but having said so it is after all the busiest time of the year for them. Bude is very nice to go to and there are great beaches around the area. Widemouth is nice and only down the road. In the day you can hear the traffic from the a39 but at night the road gets very quiet so not much of an issue. We are family with 4 kids. Oldest is 8. We would certainly recommend.
We've been here for 2 weeks. It's been reasonably wet but not constant. Almost all grass pitches are extremely muddy and soggy. The drainage is very bad and we've seen many people having major issues with the water and mud. We've had a few times extreme amounts of water and mud in the tent through the ground. It is a very boggy site when wet.

Thanks to Peter and all the staff at Bude Meadow Campsite. Great place to stay and explore the nearby beaches and enjoy the local pub grub! My kids really enjoyed the play areas especially the zip wire! The bathroom and sowers were immaculately clean with hot water. There is a 100% care and attention to all the areas of this campsite. Would recommend. 👌👍⛺️

Lovely site. Our first family visit this year- we will be back! Really well run and maintained - toilet/shower blocks well kept and clean. Owners always available to talk. Great pitches - plenty of room for our group of nine to spread out. Thank you for a brilliant week
