Great site, really quiet and tranquil although it was ths first week after the schools had gone back after summer, so I'd expect it to be quiet. Clean toilets and showers. Take a torch though because the lights are on motion sensors 😉 there's even a plug socket there for a hairdryer or something.
Staff are really friendly and helpful. Close to some great attractions and tons of wildlife nearby.

If you want a campsite that resemble a car park this is for you! Campers and tents crammed together. A camper van was so close to ours you could touch it from our window! The staff were like the fun police....no gazebos, no music, no noise, bbqs to be put out once cooking was done. I wouldn't mind but we weren't a rowdy hen do but 2 families with children who were told off for making too much noise...playing a game of cards with the kids! Very disappointed and had they not taken our £400 for the week as you have to pay in advance we would not have stayed. My favourite comment though when I asked in the campsite shop if it was possible to swim of Lindisfarne I was told " Even if you could we wouldn't tell you as you might get into trouble and we would be liable" Truly unbelievable

Terrible site in fact worst one I've ever been on and we've been all over the country ,we've just returned from the August bank holiday,we were packed in like sardines we were in a campervan ,No lights on the sight at night ,toilets running out of toilet roll and not the cleanest. 9pm at night the owners going around knocking on people's caravans telling people to turn music and tv's down which weren't even loud and that was very early after all it's the school holidays and there were children running around which were far louder than music and tv's going on .we had music playing low and were told to turn it off as it was outside our van ,then were told I will put you off the site and you can play it then when we said we were on holiday and only had it low ,the man had a stinking attitude, very rude we will definitely not be returning to this ,I wouldn't even give it the one star I did but I had to so I was able to write this review.

We ve not been to Northumberland for a long time but really wanted to come this year. We booked last minute for this campsite. What a secret special place. A great chilled vibe quiet and relaxing. Matthew (a fellow ex -mancunian) obviously loves the place and is really helpful and knows hidden beaches and places of interest. we wil definitely come back for longer next time. 11/10 !!!!
