Build With Hubs

hubs = geodesic domes made simple

We’ve created hubs, which enable quick (under an hour, in fact about 20 minutes if you know what you're doing), easy construction of durable geodesic domes. Making domes accessible to anyone and everyone without the need for specialist skills, lots of tools, complicated construction or lots of money.

We’ve resolved the design but now need to create the injection moulding tools. We’re going to launch a Kickstarter campaign early in 2015 and are looking to build a network of people who might be interested in supporting our campaign. In addition to this we’re also looking to for people who would be interested in becoming Beta Testers – helping us refine the instructions, and also for Dome Makers, people with practical /wood-working skills who would be interested in making and selling domes in their local area using hubs. Let us know if either of those sounds like you. Both of these will also be part of the rewards in the Kickstarter campaign.

In an ideal world a few years from now we’ll end up with lots of people building domes and adapting them for all sorts of uses and purposes. If you’ve got any ideas in the meantime – do let us know.
