Building Heritage Description

DA Cook Builders, Cotswold Hill Stone & Masonry, Birch Hill Pennant Quarry, Winchcombe Tile & Winchcombe Reclamation are a group of companies based in Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean.

DA Cook was established in 1968 and is a family owned construction company. Our reputation for quality craftsmanship has earned us many awards for all aspects of building, including new build, refurbishment and historic and period building restoration.

Cotswold Hill Stone and Masonry is a stone quarry in the Cotswolds and has produced high grade building, walling, flooring and masonry stone since 1982. Our UK and international customers have used our stone for building renovation & conservation, including for fine properties such as The Houses of Parliament, Hampton Court Palace, Blenheim Palace, Magdalen Bridge in Oxford and Alexandra Palace. We also offer masonry products and stonemason services.

Birch Hill Pennant Quarry produces Forest of Dean Pennant sandstone primarily used for masonry, building stone and walling.

Winchcombe Tile is a leading replica Cotswold roof tiles, concrete and stone roof tiles supplier and manufacturer. Our products are approved for Listed buildings in the Cotswolds. We are able to duplicate colour, tone and texture of most regional stones – not just in the UK, but across Europe.

Winchcombe Reclamation is an established leading source of reclaimed building materials, interior fittings and decorative items, reclaimed and new Cotswold stone and garden ornaments.
