We’re in the current issue of the Angler's Mail magazine. Thanks to Brian Gay www.v2vangling.co.uk.
In the same issue Brian has also done a really good article on keeping safe when you’re out and about fishing which is worth a read - see below. As well as fishing with a friend he’s recommending the use of an app called what3words which will help emergency services to locate you should the need arise. We think this is a great idea and have downloaded it to all our mobile devices. #keepsafe #what3words

Good morning. There are some roadworks in Kingston Seymour today but we are open and accessible as usual. The works are taking place further along Back Lane towards Clevedon so it's best to come into the village via the main B3133 to avoid a detour.
Back Lane Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th – the road will be closed in two phases. One phase will see work done from Pear Tree Cottage to New Cut Bow and the second phase will be from New Cut Bow to Middle Lane. In both cases, the alternative route will be via Middle Lane and whichever end of Back Lane is open on that day. Signs at the Triangle will give an indication that the Road Ahead is closed.

Nice little write up in this week’s Angler's Mail magazine

Great photos, super fish!

If you notice a blue tinge to the water in the North Pool it's because we've introduced a blue vegetable dye to the lake to help suppress the weed. It's a commercial product and is completely harmless to the fish. The lake is fishing well - just think of it as a touch of the Mediterranean coming to Somerset!

Well, what a great Bank Holiday weekend that was with such fabulous weather and nice visitors!
What we didn’t really need was to find out that the hot water system on the campsite wasn’t working 2 days ahead of our busiest weekend of the year. So, our biggest ‘thank you’ has to go to our plumber David Wells Heating & Plumbing Ltd who pulled out all the stops to get it fixed – including asking a friend on holiday in Spain to pick up a part and bring it back home!
Thank you to everyone who spent some time with us whether you were fishing, camping, staying in a holiday cottage or visiting Tiffin cafe at Bullock farm it was lovely to welcome you all and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
