We went for Sunday lunch , we had no reservation but the lovely lady manage to accommodate us ! Food was lovely , staff very nice , service impeccable 👍.

Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding ....to die for 😋😋😋👌🏽But beware it is a big portion !!

We decided to call here for a meal and pass some time before my wifes flight from Manchester. The food was really good, and the staff very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit but it will not be our last. Very impressed with The Bulls Head and Staff. Keep it up.�

Stayed at The Bulls Head last night. We had an absolutely lovely evening. The food was amazing, scallops cooked as they should be, fillet steak was just perfect. The bedrooms are great, breakfast this morning was superb. Your staff are so friendly and attentive, a real credit to you. We will be back soon and will certainly recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much for making us so welcome.

Never been before loved it. Especially the veranda at the top with the fairy lights

Lovely place. Comfortable rooms, clean and nice. The staff is very kind.

The pub is great.

Just love this place it's perfect for a early morning flight , lovely rooms and plenty of tea ,coffee ,cookies in the room and loveny food in the restaurant highly recommend this place

It is such a shame that I cannot give more than five stars for this place. I visited here on 22nd November for a birthday meal I had organised for my partner. The staff and management were so accommodating and helpful. I was able to drop off the birthday cake and presents during the day which they stored for me so as to not spoil the surprise. When I got there the room was ready as planned, candles and a table for two in the private room. We had a waiter who (once I gave the signal) brought out the presents and then the cake. They really helped with the perfect surprise. Not only that but silly me had forgotten to get candles for the cake! Not to let the surprise be ruined they quickly ran to the shop and got some candles for the cake. It was an absolutely perfect evening and everyone was so lovely and helpful! I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to book it as a surprise event the staff here really went out of their way to make our night special. Oh and that is before I even mention the food! The chicken leek and ham pie is a must! Absolutely delicious and very generous portions! What can I say, great place, great staff and even greater food!! ��

Had a lovely meal today at The Bulls Head, Hale Barns. Service was the best , very efficient and friendly. There were five of us for lunch and we enjoyed it so much we booked to come back again . I shall also personally be back to try the "Lamb kleftico " which If today's lunch is anything to go by will be just as scrumptious. Great pub and the landlady is so welcoming.

Fantastic place to stay very close to the airport which was ideal for me and my friend as are flight had been cancelled . Firstly I noticed the bulls head hale barn was extremely clean and also smelt very clean . The place was very nice and very friendly atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and smiley which made are stay better . I would defiantly stay again and would recommend anyone that is looking to stay somewhere modern and clean with good value for money then defiantly give this place a try .

Fabulous Pub! Great food and really friendly staff. The choice of wines, beers and spirits are extensive and the menu is really good too.



Love all the different rooms as well really cosy and inviting. We have been a few times when Lauren Lovelle sung and it was really great.



Looking forward to our next visit there.

Excellent place. We are here on our second visit in 2 days, we are travelling from Leyland (nr Preston) visiting our daughter in Wythenshawe hospital. The fish cakes were delicious and also the lamb Kleftico. I would also recommend the king prawn rendang. The ambience, service and whole customer service was excellent. We will be back and will stay over next time! Thankyou Bulls Head.

Was disappointed with the burger, first asked for it with no salad and it came out with no cheese just the meat, which was annoying as I had to send it back, then it came back and had one thin slice of bacon on a big burger which I thought was poor, and to top it off the burger itself was tasteless, sausage and mash was excellent though and service good as always!

Really nice place with really great bar staff but the food, hmmm. Having stayed in their very nice rooms for a night I ordered 2 fried eggs on toast and my other half croissants. The eggs were hugely overcooked and kind of dropped on the toast - a real unattractive mess. The croissant were dry. The previous nights meal, whilst well priced, was also average with the biggest, non crispy 'uncooked in the middle' chunky chips. Great place but eat elsewhere.

Just got back from here having had an awful dining experience.

I ordered 3 meals. After 45 mins my children's food arrived however my meal was the wrong order. So after a further 10 minutes my meal arrived only to find it frozen in the middle. So after another 10 minutes the same fish cake arrived - clearly had just been microwaved as I could see my knife mark in it from the first time. I tried the fish cake which was revolting!! I was told by the waiter to go to the bar to get a refund. I approached the bar to find it surrounded by about 20 people and only 2 members of staff so I didn't bother and just left as I had been there nearly 2 hours at this point.

I will not be returning to eat again.

Disappointed to be writing a bad review after visiting on many occasions, however we visited with a party of 12 for food at 12.30pm on Friday 14th July & having been told it was a 30 minute wait, only two orders reached us after an hour wait.

Until this point no-one came to apologise for the hour wait. A member of our party asked a member of the bar how long the remaining food would be, to be told she would ask the chef. At this point we still wasn't given an apology, nor did the bar staff return to advise how long the wait would be.

One more meal returned after an hour 10minutes, so we ask the waitress how long the remaining 9 dishes would be & explained we had been awaiting over an hour & no-one had been over to apologise or explain the delay. At this point the waitress said it would be a further 10 minutes & only came back out with one more dish & may I add still no apology!

At this point some of our party had to leave so we asked that the remaining dishes be bagged up to take away. The wait for these packed lunches was over 2 hours in total. Some members of the party asked for a refund of which they had to await for the manger for a further 10 minutes.

To add to this pandemonium, some of the packed lunches were not as we ordered!



Poor customer service all round & no empathy at all from the staff. �
