We had the cream tea for two with lemon and blueberry scones, was absolutely scrumptious 😋
Very tasty Devon tea for two. A good selection of scones served with china cups and saucers, full pot of tea and delicious clotted cream. I was also impressed with how they cleared a table left by a couple of young mothers in a dreadful state, food everywhere on the table and on the floor. Disgraceful behaviour but they responded without comment, well done !!
This is the jewel of the Exmouth crown that we look forward to returning to again and again.
The staff are all so friendly and take a particular interest in the children which is lovely.
The menu is full of classics, with a Bumble and Bee twist, as well as some specialities. The bubble and squeak, nachos with smoky beans and the French toast are particular favourites of ours.
The cakes are of such high quality and locally made.
If you care at all about the provenance of the food you eat and the love put into making and serving it, then go to Bumble and Bee.
The lovely staff at Bumble and Bee made my holiday a couple of weeks ago. I'd been searching for a cream tea only to find everywhere I went had run out, they wouldn't let me return to London without one & found a lovely but misshapen scone in the kitchen and fulfilled my cream tea needs. It was the best cream tea I've ever had, thank you so much

Such a lovely tasty, fresh breakfast, they can accommodate for food intolerances and I'd recommend the home made maple butter pancakes �
Popped in on a recommendation and was blown away!! Being new to the area, I've been experimenting with a lot of local places with poor service, way below average coffee, and flavour less food. Bumble and Bee was a delight to walk into from the friendly and helpful staff (thanks for the Bumble Bubble recommendation!), the food was delicious and quick, and you literally can't go past the cake cabinet with gluten and dairy free choices, some vegan, all decedent looking! THANK YOU Bumble and Bee for restoring my faith that people actually care about what they produce and we will be back very soon!!
My friends and I made a coffee date at Bumble & Bee for the delicious cream egg brownies today!! Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to go, however, my husband popped in and the wonderful staff very kindly packaged up some takeaway brownies, which are divine! Thank you Bumble and Bee!
Lovely place, great food, so much yummy cake, well worth the 1.5 journey from North Devon ��� we'll be back for sure x
I love the food at bumble and bee it's so delicious that it takes me so long to decide what to have takes me at least half an hour :0)
The cakes are so good and portions are huge would love an option of mini slices of a few of them then I wouldn't feel like I've missed out with only one piece ;0)
Staff are friendly and helpful.
The only downside is that it's quite small and always busy and you can't always get in
I ate there a soup twice between May and June 2018. First time it was a cream of tomato and second time it was beetroot soup.I really enjoyed them. Definitely recommend.Hope they will have more different tastes of soups cause I love them so much���

Contacted them about getting a gift voucher for a family member. Response was friendly and efficient, posting it quickly for me so that it would arrive on time for a birthday. Very happy with the service received. Looking forward to trying them out myself when I come to Exmouth for my holiday this summer.
Best Pastel de Nata I’ve had since I fell in love with them in Lisbon. Enjoying it dipped in my Dirty Chai Latte made with oak milk sitting on the beach and I think I have found lifelong happiness ���
As a slightly frazzled mum by herself with two little boys, the staff couldn’t have been lovelier! It really does make a difference. Lovely coffee and hot chocolate and can’t wait to try more cakes. Big thumbs up from us!
Absolutely unbelievable range and standard of gluten free options.
It made me feel included and totally accommodated. So rare. So lovely!
And excellent customer service too - from young people who were personable, mature, helpful and knowledgeable

Lovely refreshing pit stop on the beach. Warm and friendly staff. Tasty sausage rolls. �
Lovely light scones, very tasty and huge, enjoyed the tea and service which was a bit random but the lady who appeared to be the proprietor, and the lady clearing the tables were welcoming and pleasant and took time to ensure that we were happy with our cream teas, I will be back
Excellent food and to die for scones- although the young staff could do with smiling more and being more friendly. We were ignored on our first visit and all tables were asked how their food was and for some reason, ours was totally blanked after an unfriendly service. Such a shame as the good is wonderful.
