my son had his 11th birthday in the laser tag and the staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for us..they are so far the best staff I have come across in a play centre and even more so at doing a party..the kids loved it here and had an amazing time in the laser combat. I as a parent felt that they made my sons party truly amazing whilst also accommodating for my two younger children..what a fab bunch of people

User

Visited for the first time today for a birthday party. I was absolutely thrilled when I mentioned my daughters milk allergies. They literally have never had so much choice and yummy special treats. Cake chocolate own sandwiches jelly. The staff were so kind and checked everything for me. Great experience we had food too and it was great. Kids obviously enjoyed the play equipment also.

Thanks bumblebeez for a lovely morning. X

User

Our little one 3rd Birthday celebration was perfect thank you to all staff who makes us and our guests welcome we would highly recommend to go and have fun

User

It was our first visit today and we will certainly return. The staff could not do enough for us in terms of ensuring that the food was cooked in such a way to avoid the children's many allergies. There was plenty to do for two active little boys (1yrs and 6yrs). Safe and clean environment with lots of space. Good food for both the children and adults at very good prices. Thank you to everyone for a very pleasant 3 hour stay.x

User

I had my son’s 5th birthday party here yesterday and it was fantastic! Staff were amazing I had three children in the party will different allergies all catered for with no problems. When the food came out one of the children didn’t like any of the sandwiches so they made a sandwich that she did. It was incredibly busy yesterday we were one of three parties and most tables were being sat at too, but we didn’t wait for anything! Thank you for a fantastic party!!!

User

Had our daughters party at the lazer tag this evening (1/03/2018) The kids (and grown ups) had a great time and my daughter is still buzzing an hour later, it was well organised and food was good. Many thanks to all the staff and we will be back soon.

User

Had my sons party at laser tag today and all the kids loved it. The lads helping out were great really helpful and kept informed of what’s going on. Even the adult children had fun - more than the actual children I think! The food was hot and filling too. 2 hours of laser tag was great and definitely wore them all out. Thanks guys

User

Had a wonderful time for my little girls party today in the laser tag side, I’ve never had so much fun with all the kids and adults getting involved and also the staff who did a wonderful job to look after us, will definitely be doing it again soon, first class

User

After visiting kids planet in Folkestone we were very disappointed but I must say Bumble Beez is great! Got a lovely toddler play area our daughter loved it! And food was nice & reasonably priced too Staff were very friendly

User

Great place with only 1 issue. The staffing during school holidays is not good enough. The que is continuously long. A good 20-30 minutes before reaching the front. That is the only issue I have as food and fascilities are great.

My granddaughter is on the autistic spectrum and previously this has been a great place for her to run free and let of steam in a safe environment. One of her triggers is she will not have a stamp on her hand, as many children on the spectrum won't. Previously when she has wanted to go on the drop slide, which requires a parent signature and a child's hand to be stamped the staff have given her a peice of paper with a stamp on it that she shows to go down the slide then gives it to the responsible adult for safe keeping. On another occasion she was taken by a staff member over to the staff member on duty at the slide so they knew who she was. This was on a day when it was not busy. Today I took her there as some of her class mates where there and when the slide opened and I asked for the paper stamp, explaining that she was autistic, I was told it had not been done before and they would not do it. So I asked what they had in place for this as they have disability sessions and are raising money for a sensory area, which would mean they Should have some idea of the issues that children have and coping procedures so that the children can use all facilities. Not to be treated as special but to be able to use the facilities available.

I spoke to the female manager who said they had nothing in place. I suggested that if the paper was a no go I would stand in clear view of the staff member on the slide and as well as putting her name on the required form, I would give my consent to the staff member on every occasion that she wanted to go on the slide. That's not how it works, was pretty much the response.

So a treat, after a hard week at school resulted in a meltdown and emotional upset and distress, which was witnessed by school friends and will probably have extended issues in school next week.

So if you have a child with this issue then please be aware that this is not the place to take your child.

I will be putting my complaint in writing direct to the management however i do not expect much of a response given how unhelpful they were today.

In these times when equality, diversity and disability regulations are being pushed forward to enable children to be treated in a fair and consistent manner this company needs to address issues such as these quickly.

A child should not feel singled out by a lack of common sense.

User

It's someone to go when it's not so warm out and the little ones like it. I myself think management don't care as long as they have their money they have an a allegen menu but then cross contaminate the food was the point and the price of the food for the potion size is a joke could go on but will they care or even change probably not

User

It's great for the kids to run around and have a play, staff have always been friendly and helpful if needed. However the food is just awful, every time we've been it's had a little bit of an odd taste or has been luke warm at best. We'll come back for the kids to play as they love it but won't be having any food.

User

It is what is says on the tin. Menu was nicely priced.

The kitchen swing doors needs some sort of security as the toddler found them easier to get in and out of than the gate to the play area (despite plenty of high speed chases, he made it in more than once!)

User

I have really enjoyed bumblebeez. Its great that under 1s are free and the toddler area is great! Also staff are lovely and the main area looks good for when she's older. HOWEVER while my comment isnt completely the fault of bumblebeez staff there is not enough monitoring of the toddler area. I had several older boys of perhaps 10 years in the ball pall with my baby throwing balls and soft play blocks and acting particularly boisterous to the point my 10 month old nearly got hit in the face and jumped on. After polite but firm words to them fell on deaf ears I felt I had to leave the area. I later looked over and there were no 1-4 year old they were all at least 8 or over. Mum's and dad's need to keep an eye on their children however better monitoring of the area by staff would be good

User

We went for a birthday party there recently, the whole place was hired out for it especially. Whilst my son had a good time, I was not impressed with the staff.

My son had taken his socks off somewhere and I could find them immediately, with all the kids running around. So when they sat down for food (15-20 minutes later) I went around the all the apparatus to find his socks. When I couldn’t find them I asked staff if anyone had seen. They told me that they had found them and had put them out with the bin, but where happy to go and get them from the bin for me.

I was not impressed as my child is autistic and will only wear certain things.

User

My nephew had his 6th birthday here . No organisation . The brought the food out without even call the kids to sit down first , they didn't seem to be one designated person dealing with the party . They brought the pudding out while the kids were still eating there party food , and didn't even clear the table on the finished plates . No communication of when they were bringing the cake out , we just saw a crap bumble custom coming towards us and music started playing . Kids that werent apart of the party were walking into your party room randomly . Again the table wasn't cleared before they brought the cake out. We had to ask if the party bags were ready as children were starting to leave . I ordered food separately which took over half hour . My nephew and his friends had a great time but overall the service was rubbish compared compared to how much it costs per child !

User

For the price they charge, I expect there to be a member of staff at the toddler area at all times. I get fed up of telling other people's children they're too big to be in there and it's clearly a safety risk. There no justification for £5.50 entrance fee when no steps are taken to ensure children's safety.

User

Daughters party was on Monday. Whilst thankfully my daughter and her friends seemed to have a great time I was not impressed. To start with we ordered some food for the grown ups and it was disgusting. Sausage and Chips was Luke warm at best.

When A child was badly sick in the play area everywhere, this delayed our food being served. Whilst these things cannot be helped I felt that there was not enough staff to deal with this problem which must happen from time to time. The party host looking after my daughters party told us the food would be ready at 5pm. This was delayed because, she told me, she had to clear up sick in between preparing our party food! very off putting to think that someone from the kitchen had to deal with vomit one minute and our food the next. Why wasn’t there a first aider/cleaner dealing with this as surely this is a hygiene concern? I felt sorry for this member of staff as she was clearly rushed off her feet, flustered and to be fair to her she was very apologetic. Because she was so busy, an extra table that was promised when we arrived at 4pm was not set up ready and the children had already started on the food leaving two children without a place to sit. This was sorted eventually. There was a gap between food/pudding and the cake so children got restless, and the cake took some time to be cut up resulting in some children not getting any to take home as they needed to leave promptly at six which was embarrassing. Really dissappointed considering the cost and I won’t be back unfortunately.
